DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Office Calendar No. 3" model 8 day spring driven timepiece & calendar wall clock often called the "Peanut", c1875.
CONDITION:
The mahogany veneered case retains some original finish. The time dial has original paint with minor loss at the screw holes and winding arbor holes. The "S T" Htands are proper, the hour hand is original, but the minute hand is probably a later replacement. The calendar dial has original paint with very minor loss at the screw holes. The calendar hand is original, but has lost its tail portion. Overall, this is a very clean example of this scarce clock, Ht 231/2"
